THE WIZARD OF OZ Educational Exhibit is a 2,500 square foot interactive exhibit that will invite guests of all ages to embark on a multi-sensory, cross-disciplinary exploration of the Land of Oz. Created by Miami Children’s Museum and SPARKS, in conjunction with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, it is the only Warner Bros. Consumer Products licensed and sanctioned traveling children’s museum Exhibit.
For it's third time at Miami Children's Museum I created a new marketing campaign for the exhibit called the FIND YOUR _________. External marketing graphics contained one of 4 graphics rotating the main characters of DOROTHY, SCARECROW, TIN MAN, and COWARDLY LION, along with messages encouraging that guests could find their Home, Brains, Heart, and Courage all at Miami Children's Museum.
As an additional component to the exhibit, and to increase guest interactivity with the Museum through social media, I designed and oversaw production of Giant Inflatable Ruby Slippers. They were displayed outside the museum entrance for the duration of the exhibit, and saw a great response via Instagram and Facebook.
To give the theatrical department an uplift as well, the decision to upgrade all the character costumes was made. I designed and constructed 4 of the 6 costumes myself, and oversaw and approved the purchasing for the rest. You can view more photos here.
